About OJ

Question: Actually, there is a pretty good working theory that OJ did not murder Nicole and Ron Goldman, but that his son did, and OJ has been covering for his son. That would explain the descripancy in the DNA evidence, close not not a perfect match.

But, regarding the Reynold case. You are quick to point out that experts can testify to anything, but at least they did testify, under oath. The way to discredit an expert's opinion is to discredit the expert, (didn't happen) or bring in your own expert to counter the opinion, (didn't happen either). lastly, Wilson himself had every opportunity to explain the evidence, he declined. Wilson and Brunton were not there either, but based on a review of the evidence, concluded it was a suicide. How does that differ with an expert reviewing the evidence and coming to a conclusion based on the evidence?

I'll help you out. The expert actually has the education and experience to be recognized by the court, to give opinion evidence. They jury is free to give as much credibility to that opinion as they wish, and apparently in this case, they decided the experts were in fact credible.

EXPERTS TELL FACTS

Question: This must mean also that Terry Wilson would put anything on the Death Certificate if he was paid enough? I remember reading that he said he would change it if he was told to – he didn’t care.

Does this mean that Carmen Brunton would say anything, even lie if she was paid enough?

It has already been proven that Glade Austin (Det. Sgt. at time of Ronda’s death) lied. But oops, he isn’t an expert. One might be stretching the definition to call the coroner or deputy coroner experts but one might still question how much they were paid.

Ms. Thompson – can you disclose how much you paid the “Doddling old fool”? You know, the one with the impeccable resume, the one who talked and explained is such eloquent simple terms – the truth about forensics….. facts that just don’t lie. Impossible is impossible.

Following this case closely.

Question: You can get an expert to testify the way you want if you pay them enough, or include them in the book deal. The pathologist is not the one who did the autopsy. He was a monday morning quarterback and a doddering old fool. Remember all of the defense experts that testified at the OJ trial? And we know how innocent he was, now don't we? Finally, none of these people were there at the momoent the suicide happened, so it's all speculation.

Not a suicide

Question: Not sure about the last comment, but the physical crime scene was such that it was not possible for Ronda to have shot herself. Both a ballistics expert and a forensic pathologist explained at trial how it would have been impossible. Add the improbable timeline due to rigor and livor motise, and it was clear that the death occured much earlier in the morning. Bottom line, Ronda did not kill herself, but was instead murdered. End of story. Spin it like you want, but the physical evidence doesn't lie.

Depression and Suicide

Question: It is quite common for someone who is coming out of a depression to suddenly kill themselves without notice. Happens all the time. Google it.

Ronda Reynolds

Question: Barb just wanted you to know that the Sheriff's office is running scared. I wonder why they felt the need to place a mole in the court room taking notes? Make no mistake they are gearing up for the next cover up. What they don't understand now is that all respect has been lost for them and there is no saving them.....did anyone say they are desperate with no conscience? J. McCroskey is dirty and is responsible for this mess! As time approaches for somebody being held responsible I wonder which one will pull out of the "good ole boys club" and sing like a bird to save his own behind. Bets anyone?

Ann Rule

Question: For the person begging Ann Rule to check out Ronda's past...get real!!! Ann Rule checks out everything and goes thru it with a fine toothed comb, before she ever writes the book. If you have read any of her books, you would already know that. I am sure she would love to hear from you if you have some truthful things to add.
However...do not be surprised if you get checked out in the process!!

Thank you for a safer society....

Question: Your efforts are appreciated by all victims of injustice. Spending the past ten years demanding justice for your fantastic daughter will have repercussions in all "slacker" courts everywhere.

I know what it's like to walk away from two marriages with nothing to show for all the emotional energy wasted and money spent to "have something with someone." These experiences taught me to cut my losses and move on. When I realized what cheaters these husbands were, I knew that I had to start looking at myself and examine my inability to rebuild trust that was so cruelly shattered. Awareness of this vulnerabilty has probably saved my life.

This was Ronda's second life-lesson with a cheater and had she survived, she would have learned from it. Bitter and angry, yes, but she would have been "battle-hardened" and alive. With therapy, she would have healed and moved on but she ran out of time.

Then, the injustice of an accusation of suicide was the one thing that you could fight with a determination that would not end. It's taken ten years but you would have gone on ad infinitum. I think of the lives you've saved and the changes you've brought to bear on these inadequate officers of the court and I thank you for your tenacity for Ronda. You've been a splash of cold reality on the ol' boys club whose members would so flippantly make decisions to cover their own behinds. I'm so pleased that the great Ann Rule, by writing a book, will keep that cold splash on these civil servants the nightmare they deserve to do their jobs correctly. Stay strong, Ms. Thompson.

Sincerely,
Melissa Reginelli

Chronicle says "Explain yourself or resign"

Question: This would be a good time for a letter writing campaign to the Chronicle.
