Can we get an answer to this question?

Question: If Rose Stump was so convinced that Tom would never commit suicide, why didn't she contest the judge's finding that Tom DID commit suicide? Surely she was notified of the proceedings all along the way. When Scott Haskell (Tom's business partner) petitioned the court to have Tom declared dead, why did Rose say nothing? Could it be that she WAS aware of the truth, but it did not fit in with her concocted scenario. More likely, she decided to say nothing because she had nothing to say --- not one shred of evidence that Tom did anything except walk away of his own free will and commit suicide.

The lack of an answer to this question leads to the inevitable conclusion that Rose Stump has no interest in the truth of Tom's suicide. Her sole intent is obviously to avenge Tom's death by attacking an innocent family.

An obvious case of transference

Question: The previous post shows that the Stumps obviously feel anger, directed at those they believe failed to help Tom. It’s okay to express anger, a common emotion when a family member has died by suicide. Sometimes healing cannot begin until this anger is confronted and expressed. However, a healthy expression of anger does not include hurting yourself or others. You obviously feel the need to lash out at the Beckers. This is unfortunate, unnecessary and only demeans Tom's memory.

Feelings of guilt following a suicide are normal—for parents and family, friends, and even coworkers. “If only” is a phrase you may find yourself repeating frequently. You may need to feel guilty for a while until you begin to understand that you are not ultimately responsible for the decisions and actions of another human being, including Tom. Sometimes you need to go through a feeling to get beyond it. Believe in yourself. You are human—accept your limitations.

The Stumps may feel a need to ask “why?” Often, of course, there are no clear answers, which often proves highly frustrating. After some time you may reach a point where you begin to realize that there are some questions about Tom's death that can never be answered. Tom took those answers to his grave.

Who took the nude photo's of Bernie? A girlfriend?

Question: Stocks hid? Good job Tom. Bernie wasn't the only spouse to have a secret in the family?

Where did you find them under the bench with the $400.00

What a bad thing huh? Bet she had the right to cash them too didn't she?

Did he find the photo's and take them under the bench too?

Wrong again

Question: In Florida those are all marital assets, not just Tom's or Bernie's.

You don't mention the stocks that Tom hid from the family.

Scott got crap and Bernie made out. Again.

Question: He did gain. The peace of mind not to have two hungry people (Bernie and Bill) screaming and scratching for money for "the girls". (But wait, I thought that Bernie said she was the bread winner and Tom made crap) He got her out of a business that never belonged to her in the first place. She never hammered one nail in those homes. Bill never carried wood or painted or worked in the hot sun for 1 hour. But they got the money and squandered it in Tom's name with a smile and bottle of champagne. Scott had to pay her when the business was Tom's not Bernie's. The law protected her once again.

Question: So I dont think scott had much to gain.

Asked on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:51:15 AM

I think

Question: I think Scott Haskel was tom's best friend as well as a business partner. The business was in debt and scott was left holding the bag. It was scott who wanted tom declared dead, which led to the judicial review and ruling. People on here say it was bernie, it wasnt.

Question: I think we are overlooking a possibility. I think the partner had something to do with Stump's disappearance. He had much to gain.

Wrong again

Question: That is THE conclusion of the detectives....that Tom walked away of his own free will. After that, there are the three possibilities of where he went and what happened to him (or more accurately, what he did to himself)

Asked on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 08:28:55 PM

Again and again.

Question: That is not one of the three conclusions. End of story.

Proof?

Question: No one needs to PROVE that Tom committed suicide.

All we are asking is for you to prove that the detectives somehow erred in their conclusion that Tom left of his own free will.

Asked on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10:45:59 AM

No proof at all.

Question: Tell us where the proof is that Tom is even dead?

Where was the body?
Blood?
Bones?
Sent into the woods instead of the street?
Gun
Gun shot sound?

Other than Bernie's word (we all know about that) where is your proof?

You have none.

Girls "clink in her head" that was traumatized by her mothers call and a professed woman? No proof at all.

Bill flys for sure :) and has for years

Question:
Since Bill is a professed atheist it's amusing that you use words like parting of the seas, miracles, disciples and walking on water. Do you even know what those words mean? (Nothing you can believe in I'm sure)

"Sleep with dogs and wake up with fleas" (SWDA-WUWF) That's what we call the Becker defense.

The 3 case FACTS are:

Murder (this one is part of the case and with all the inconsistencies should indeed be looked at)
Suicide (this one used to close a business and allow the wife to get all her goodies +)
Living abroad (this one is possible. With his drug habits he could have had a fake passport hidden in the woods)

Not simply suicide as you would love everyone to believe. Why?

We believe that all 3 are possible simply because no body/bone has surfaced yet.

Godly

Question: Can Bill Becker fly? Can he stop wars? Can he walk on water?

You guys seem to think he is godly or something, if you read the website he is attributed with:

1. Controlling the county sherrifs office.
2. Controlling the detectives of the fdle.
3. Controlling the county commisioners.
4. Controlling the outcomes of elections.
5. Controlling the producers of unsolved mysteries.
6. Controlling websites.
7. Controlling the local newspapers.

It seems to be one of the excuses routinely used by the stumpies when they have no explanation for something. Theu just drum up- bill covered it up and then just ignore all case fact. I call it the " parting of the sea" defense against an overwhelming amount of evidence supporting suicide.

So now my question- Does bill work all these miracles himself or does he have disciples?

Investigation???????

Question: This case was invesigated to death. Two different agencies, each investigating twice. The fdle detectives are florida's finest.

The kennedy assassination and the twin towers bombings were investigeted LESS than the stump suicide. My god... the guy said a farewell to bonnie seconds before he left...showing absolute premeditation to whatever he was planning. Noone can argue that he didnt know he was about to vanish. Rose's incessant badgering of the mcso led to the case being re-investigated approx. five years later. Same conclusion: he did what he said he was going to do: suicide.

suicide

Question: If it were suicide, then let the Stump family of Ohio prove it. Every time they want the case thoroughly investigated, Becker puts a stop to it, through his many friends in the sheriff's dept.

We understand

Question: We truly understand how horribly sad it must be when grieving family members cannot come to grips with the sad suicide of a dear loved one. They seek to find fault elsewhere, to blame others, to acuse the living, to do anything that diverts attention from the real root of the unfortunate matter, to avoid the terrible truth of suicide. Such is the case of Tom Stump, but it is one that is tragically complicated by his hiding of his own body. Despite the absolutely total lack of even remote circumstantial evidence of any foul play, birth family members have blindly seized on obscure, minor discrepancies in their tunnel-visioned attempts to shift the unavoidable blame from Tom to the unfortunate, but heroic family he deserted. Fortunately, dispassionate trained investigators have not been falsely swayed by these cruel and unfounded accusations. They have arrived at the inescapably correct conclusion: Tom Stump simply walked away -- turned his back on his crying family and left of his own free will. No crime. No dastardly foul play. Not even a shred of evidence to the contrary. Where Tom went after walking out remains a mystery, but the fact that he has not returned in 14 years makes it a near certainty that he did, indeed, commit suicide as he so clearly promised.
