Question: Rose doesn't hate her grand kids at all. She understands their feelings and wishes things were different but are thrilled that their lives are doing well. Question: Why do you pretend you know who is posting? We all know you have no clue. Even the webmaster has no clue. Everyone uses a false email and sign in name. Bernie doesnt post. We can account for all posts.
Dont be mad at people for discussing sally's good news. Rose could take this thread down and chooses not to. She knows she traded her family for a website. The girls could maybe forgive her for their childhood interrogation, but to continue this slander of the beckers ( the website) seems to insure that rose will continue to learn of news events here.

Question: Bernie, you are a terrible person. If you want Rose to know what's happening in Sally's life...put it down.

You know she loves her dearly even though there isn't contact. But to just put that tantalizes her. Be a better person and state what you are talking about or don't say anything at all.

Bill has to be aware that you are doing these postings so he is just as bad.

Question: Cannon was there at the time and knows what was said and in what context.

The sister heard about the conversation second hand and either misunderstood or misremembered what she'd overheard.

Cannon's statement is fact. His sister's statement is hear-say.

Question: Do you have the authority to request that? I don't think so.

He gave his statement to the detectives, and they accepted it. If they had suspected him of lying, they would have requested a polygraph. But they believed him.

Only those they suspected of lying were given polygraphs. They allegedly passed. But that proved nothing, since people who are incapable of feeling guilt can always pass polygraphs.

Question: So now we are going to divide the people interviewed by the detectives by who told the truth and who lied? What would Cannon have to fear? He lived in Wisconsin. Other information he gave the detectives sounded okay. Did you read his interview?

Question: Mrs. Haskell had no reason to lie. Unlike her brother, she was not the one talking about hiding bodies. He was. Of course he lied when questioned by the detectives. You think he's going to admit to talking about hiding bodies? Get real.

Question: There was no possible reason for Cannon to lie to detectives about his conversation with Tom. He wasn't being accused of anything. If Tom had truly been talking about committing suicide, Cannon certainly would have disclosed that. Why would he want to impede an investigation?

He said his sister had either misunderstood him or was remembering incorrectly.

Question: That was the story Cannon came up with when the detectives confronted him with Stump's statements. Of course he's going to lie to them rather that telling them that they were talking about hiding a body. Anybody that talks about hiding bodies is going to lie to detectives about it.

Tom Stump: "You'll never find me" 		 
Question: Here's what the wife of Tom's partner told detectives:

"When asked what she thought happened to Stump, she said she thought Tom had killed himself. She said her brother (Pat Cannon) had told her about a conversation he had once with Stump several years prior to the disappearance. They talked about how they would kill themselves if they ever did it. STUMP HAD SAID HE WOULD CRAWL DOWN INTO SOME MANGROVES AND SHOOT HIMSELF, THAT WAY HE WOULD NOT BE FOUND. He had further said that the fish would eat him."

When questioned by detectives Cannon responded by saying that they weren't necessarily talking about suicide, just about hiding a body....presumably someone they would murder, and not want the body found. How nice. People who talk like that are capable of ANYTHING.
