To picture this...

Question: You have the class of a swine.

To the families of the homicide victims as well as missing person we extend our regrets for the post.

These families have endured tragic loss and need the empathy of those who can give. It's a disgrace to show the ignorance of such a low breed of character.

Since you find this web site humorous your true hope for the truth proves not to exist. Keep your petty ignorance to yourself in the future.

'Florida Cold Case Homicides"!

Question: I received my deck of cards today. What is significant to me is the title of the deck -- "3rd Edition -- Florida Cold Case HOMICIDES"! Apparently the Florida court system considers Tom's case a homicide, not a suicide.

Exactly when?

Question: What day did Bernie take her friend and her sister on this ride through bush and dirt road to a burned out bridge?

They say it was in a rental car that Bernie took them. Was it the same rental car that Bill Becker met Bernie in Key West to return? Or was it another time that she rented a car?

Does anyone know this answer?

Did the two children go to Key West to return the car? If not, who watched them the time that she was gone?

Who is Georgette (spelling) Why is there not deposition for her either?
Has she been in the case since the first day? Are she and Bernie still close friends?

Anyone who knows these answer please comment. Thank you.

About the deck

Question: The deck profiles 52 unsolved homicides and missing persons. There are hundreds of other cases that are not profiled here. You might know something about these cases or you just might have some information on cases not in this deck. You may think the information you have is not important or would not be helpful to the investigation. However, that information just might be the missing link that family members have been waiting years for that can solve their loved ones case and bring closure to
the family. The victims depicted in this deck are someone's mother, father, sister, brother, wife husband or child. If you have information about any case in this deck please call the number at the bottom of the card that case appears on.

excellent questions I must say

Question: These question are by far stupid. Is there a record that Mark Ripin's boss was contacted to see if he actually was in Key West?

It matters if it was 15 minutes or 30 minutes because everyone said in the beginning 30 minutes. What did they talk about during that 30 minutes?

DID BONNIE TALK TO TOM ABOUT HIM NOT GOING ON VACATION WITH THEM?

It's interesting that Sally was deathly ill yet she played on the computer with Tom? He gave her a bath? Bernie grabs her out of her bed flings her around almost knocking Bonnie down and to have her say goodbye to a man who's going to commit suicide?

WHO WAS WITH SALLY WHEN THE PITY RIDE WENT DOWN?

Sally, deathly ill left alone by a mother that wasn't worried about someone not in his right mind? I don't believe that. Someone was with Sally and Bernie just doesn't want anyone to know who.

Did Sally wake up while Bernie was on her pity ride and that's when she looked out the window seeing a car leave? Thinking Tom left since that's what she was told he was going to do?

WAS SALLY ASLEEP OR AWAKE WHEN BERNIE AND BONNIE CAME BACK FROM THEIR RIDE?
LIGITEMITE QUESTION.

Stupid questions

Question: What difference does it make how long Bonnie talked to Tom? Half hour, 15 minutes? Who had a stop watch? What difference does it make?
Sally was sick with food poisoning from the night before. Not deathly sick. Meanwhile, Bernie and Bonnie were dealing with a life-and-death situation in Tom's suicide. They decided to take a drive and look for him. Certainly understandable.
No one was afraid that Tom would return to shoot Sally.
Mark Ripin was in Key West.

These people were faced with a traumatic situation, and all you can do is read unsavory motives into their very understandable actions.

(not dtl...not Bernie)

Who stayed with Sally? Bill? Mark? Who?

Question: Bonnie talked to Tom for 1/2 hour before he walked into the woods or left in a car.

What took place in that 1/2 hour? Where they talking about their vacation?

Bernie picked up a sick kid and carried her down the stairs to say goodbye to Tom.

But the documents never say anything about what Bonnie remembers so vividly now. Why?

Why didn't Bernie pick the sick kid up and drive her for the 1/2 hour with Bonnie?

Who was with Sally, while sick home when Bernie took Bonnie out of the house for 1/2 on their ride?

Where was Mark Ripin all this time? Did the detectives check his boss to see if he left work?

Who was with Sally during that drive? If she was sick and woke would she not have been afraid?

Why would her mother do that to her? Especially if she thought Tom was unstable with a Glock ready.

Comments regarding bogus letter from Bonnie.

Question: Just going by the original depositions comparing it to the bogus letter you are trying to use as a Koran.

What's your point?

Question: Thirteen years later and thousands of miles away makes you more credible than the witnesses who were there?

Question: We are talking about their conversation for half hour between Tom and Bonnie. Did they talk for half hour about suicide? Did Tom tell her I'm committing suicide? NO.

He told her to take care of Sally. Could have meant take care of her on vacation.

You as the DTL should be more open to good options about this so called conversation. Not negative.

Vacation?

Question: If Tom was intending to commit suicide as he expressed to Bernie and Bonnie, it's obvious that he was not going on the vacation trip.

question

Question: So you're saying that it's impossible to think that Bonnie was going to try to get Tom to go on vacation with the family?

Tom told Scott he didn't think he was going.

What's so unbelieveable about it?

You're such a kidder.

Question: That is too much. How dramatic! That's not what was send in the depositions. Different story.
Get your lines straight before you post. You can't be DTL cause you are focusing on that letter
that could be from anyone and holds absolutely no weight.

If we go to court on day, you'll have to realize that all the emails will have a tail to them.
They will know who really did the death threat, where it came from. When Bonnie sits on the
stand and tells her story, all this crap will end.

Because an email address is used it doesn't mean that person is typing it. Bonnie is still
using her email from a child? Doubt it. Surly she has a new.

She blocked emails from Rose before yet she or DTL or ?? is begging her to email that same address.
Why? So the Becker's can see what Rose would tell Bonnie?

Thinking you're that smart is hilarious.

Helping you understand

Question: From Bonnie's letter to Rose Stump:

The next morning my mother called and told me to come home quickly, she said that Tom was acting strangely. I left before breakfast at Kim’s and raced home on my bike. I opened the downstairs door and was walking my bike inside when I noticed Tom sitting on his couch in his workroom. His head was hanging. His arms were supporting his weight on his knees. He looked sad.

I parked my bike and went to sit next to him. His eyes were red from crying. He said, “I have to go now. I won’t see you again.”

I was confused, “No, Dad, we’ll see you.” I knew enough at my age about what happens to families during divorce.

“Take care of your sister, tell her I love her.”

“No, Dad. Where is Sally? You tell her, it’s her birthday.”

As I got up to go upstairs Tom gave no indication that he was following me. He then said, in words I’ll never forget, “You’ll see me in your dreams, Bonnie.” At that point it hit me. He was going to take his own life.

question for dtl

Question: It would be understandable if Bernie and Tom were arguing about him not going (like he mentioned to Scott) Tom said on the phone to Scott, "I don't know if I am going on vacation or not"

It would be plausible that a mother would think that if a child asked him to go with them and not stay back he may change his mind.

But is it plausible that a mother would call her child him with the thoughts of Tom telling her he would kill himself? Remember that Bernie claims that Tom had already told her, "I don't want to live without you". If she thought that was the clue for her that he would kill himself why would she involve a child?

Either she is a horrible mother or the reason that she was called him was to ask Tom to still go on vacation with them, that she wanted him to be with them. (at this time we don't think the children knew about her lover)

Meanwhile, sick Sally is being snatched from her bed and carried down to Tom so fast that she almost hits here other child. Bernie was the frantic one and that certainly would bring children to be frightened.

Since Bonnie was the last to talk to Tom and she talked to him for half hour then all this carrying had to take place before that half hour.

Was it fact that Bonnie talked to Tom about still going with them on vacation?

Asked on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 04:46:26 AM

Tom wasn't going on the trip he told Scott H.

Question:

Ask Bernie where is the proof that Tom said he would commit suicide?

Where is that proof? A woman who was "going to be together no matter what" is the one who says he said that. Not one other person can tell us that Tom said or thought that. The brother-in-law disputes what you say here on the board and we can prove that. So where is the proof? The two best friends, can they tell us that Tom said that? His best friend Scott? Can he tell us Tom said or thought that?

Where is there any proof that Tom said that.

A story of a child "clicking in her head"? One who read mystery stories all her life? One who was summoned to her home to talk to her step-father before he left? Was Bonnie trying to talk Tom into still going on vacation with them?

Was that what Tom was doing? Staying home and not going on vacation with the family?
Is this what Bonnie went home to talk to Tom about?
Or did her mother call her home to talk him out of killing himself?

MANY THINGS DON'T FIT.

DTL we have some questions for you. Can you help?

Question: Can you ask Bernie if she "carried Sally down to see Tom" or if Tom went up to see Sally?

This is conflicting. I would like to clarify this information. Since now 13 years later remember exactly that she carried Sally down to see Tom and almost knocked you over why did you not tell anyone this at any time before now?

Do you remember saying that "he (meaning Tom) might be hiding under a heat blanket so the police can't find him?"

Can you tell us why you thought Tom would be hiding from the police? What had he done and why would he need to hide?

Bonnie was so upset when Tom left, yet she found time to read? What exactly what book was Bonnie reading? Surly she can remember that exactly too.

The possibilities

Question: The detectives conclude that Tom left of his own free will.

From that point, they say, there are three possibilities:

1) Relocated to unknown area. This is hard to imagine, since he took nothing of value (except his gun) that would assist him in setting up a new life somewhere else. No one has seen or heard from Tom in over eleven years. Relocation is highly unlikely.

2) Died as the result of accident, negligence or homicide. Again, no evidence of this at all. No indication of any foul play. No indication of any crime. No blood. No polygraph results indicating any sort of criminal activity or intent. No testimony that Tom was a victim of anything except his own depression.

3) Committed suicide. This is the only conclusion that has any support in terms of witness testimony from the three people who were there. And they are all in agreement as to what Tom said and what his intent was.
