ammo

Question: This Stump guy had 2000 rounds of ammo under his bed. Do you realize how small that box was? I have a box of 4000 rounds and the box measures 13" by 7" by 6". I'm sure the "dust bunnies" were bigger than the box of ammo.

Question: In case anyone is wondering if I have heard anything from the angels about Tom Stump, the answer is yes. He did not kill himself, as Judge Sandra Taylor concluded in her order declaring him legally dead. Tom was murdered. By whom, I cannot say, because I have not been told. But he was murdered, and his body was put where it could not be found. Probably underwater. If his body had been left exposed in the mangroves, the carrion birds would have found it, which would have drawn the searchers to that spot and they would have found the body. Likewise, if Tom had killed himself in the mangroves, in a place known only to him, the carrion birds would have found the body and drawn in the searchers. If Sandy and I know this, why doesn’t our sheriff know it? Why doesn’t Bob Peryam know it? They are highly-trained and very experienced law enforcement officers. They should have figured the carrion birds thing out immediately. But they didn’t, and because they didn’t, I can’t help but wonder if it was because they were simply stupid, or if it was because they knew something about Tom Stump’s disappearance, or they had friends who did.

Few questions at the end.

Question: You as the team leader should have a better view of both sides rather than being a one sided--insider.

Bernie hadn't care for Tom for a long time before that day. Actually the October before that month Bernie was hiding from Tom and causing lots of trouble and causing fights without shame. She was giving Tom a fit in any way she could. She wanted Bill so badly she would do anything to get him. Even destroy his marriage and credibility.

I would like to know why the police did not continue searching for Tom after the 1st one? The neighbors and our beloved Bill searched but the police stopped? Is that a normal thing? They know a body is out there somewhere in a mile radius and they are willing to just let it rot?

Or did they realize by the dog going to the road that he wasn't in those woods? Especially since Bernie was showing them another area he could have been they realized there was something fishy and didn't want to waste the manpower thinking he just took off somewhere else?

Since the two children had a hard time at first dealing with the loss just how did Bernie help them? How long did they go to counseling? Did Bernie have talks with the children's parent stressing that the children were not allowed to talk about Tom or the case?

How true

Question: I would imagine it would be a stretch to care for someone who just walked out on his family because he refused to agree to a divorce (and refused to see a counselor), someone who committed suicide on his daughter's birthday, someone who hid his own body to prevent his wife and children from having any sort of closure.

"Caring" for Tom at that point would come somewhere down the list....somewhere after dealing with distraught children, investigating detectives, and a vengeful mother-in-law.

Bashing the Beckers is what this board is about

Question: It must be painful for the Stumps to come to grips with what Tom did. After all, what "good man" abandons his family and commits suicide because his wife asks for a divorce? What kind of person hides his own body so his family is left with only questions? What kind of man commits suicide on his daughter's birthday?

afraid

Question: No body was found and yet Becker moved in with the Stumps. Wasn't he afraid the husband would return? Or was he sure the husband WOULD
NOT return? And what made Becker so sure he wouldn't return?

You as always are just thinking of yourselves.

Question: Of course the living are important.
The living parents and brothers and sisters of Tom Stump, are living and important.
And Tom's daughter is living and important.

One reason the rude and obnoxious comments about Tom are so offensive stem from the hurt it produces by the Becker team without regard for them.

This web site is to find out what happened to Tom not to bash the Becker's like they claim.
It's meant for those who really care to find out. Obviously Bill and Bernie and Bill's daughter Bonnie and Tom's blood daughter and Bill's adopted daughter Sally don't really care now do they? They just accept the idea of their mother (as her own priest stated) and because they get what they want it's all Ok.

Let something happen to one of them or theirs and see if there is a web site or news about it. Sure there would be.

But Tom meant nothing to them.

Fortunately Tom Stump was someone and means the world to them, the Stump family.

Where is your compassion for the living?

Question: The three people who witnessed Tom Walk away have no doubt whatsoever that Tom commtted suicide. They suffered the trauma of his final goodbye. They were there. You were not. For you to call them liars, and worse, is irresponsible, unconscionable and condemnable. They were victimized by Tom's suicide. Why must you continue to victimize them? (I would venture a guess that you have never spoken to them about this. Right? I have, and I can assure you that they have come to closure with it, and have moved on.)

FYI....Rose states her faulty premise clearly: "It's impossible for me to believe that Tom committed suicide and hid his own body."

She rejects the eyewitness accounts. She rejects the findings of the multiple investigations. She rejects the passed polygraphs.

Bottom line....she's dead wrong.

The truth.

Question: There is an innocent person that is a Becker. That one and only is Sally. She lost a father because her mother couldn't control herself and therefore destroyed two marriages. Marriages with vows that Bill nor Bernie could withstand. That is the sad "so very sad" thing about this case.

Tom the original victim of Bernie's lie that she believed in, and Bill's final acceptance of her. He needed to be a father after all those years didn't he? Instead of letting two (Mark and Tom) take over his personal duties he made a name for himself. He was the most important thing -- himself for himself.

Now that Bernie has convinced him of his duty and he thought it time to step up to the plate they both would like to blame everyone else for their own personal discrepancies. They would like to blame the Stumps for raising Tom. Blame Tom for not "right thinking" their ways and blame the web site for allowing the truth to emerge without the stifle of the Becker's.

So very sad

Question: It is truly sad when grieving family members cannot come to grips with the suicide of a loved one. They will seek to find fault, to blame others, to do anything that diverts attention from the real root of the matter. Such is the case of Tom Stump, but it is one that is complicated by his hiding of his own body. Despite the absolutely total lack of evidence of any foul play, family members have seized on minor discrepancies in their feeble, ill-spirited attempts to shift the blame from Tom to the family he deserted. Fortunately, dispassionate investigators have not been swayed by these unfounded accusations. They have arrived at the correct conclusion: Tom Stump left of his own free will. No crime. No foul play. No evidence to the contrary. Where Tom went after walking away remains a mystery, but the fact that he has not returned makes it a near certainty that he did, indeed, commit suicide as he promised.

Where's the beef?????

Question: I still fail to see any significant evidence that the Beckers did anything wrong. Nowhere do I see or hear any evidence for foul play. No one saw any violence. No blood. No argument against the fact that Tom walked away of his own free will. No one dragged him out of the house. He simply told his wife and children that he was leaving and not coming back. "You'll see me in your dreams." "You'll never find me." Pretty simple and straightforward. And everyone has passed lie-detector tests.
The person responsible for this whole mess is dead, by his own hand.
Why do you continue to attack an innocent family?
Someday you will be ashamed of your words and actions.

so

Question: You make it sound like Becker knew Stump. Did they REALLY know each other. Where and When did they meet, O knowledgeable one?

You have no idea how wrong you are about this

Question: I see a side of this story, and a side of this family, that you will never see. They are a warm and loving family, much more so than when Tom was the head of the household. They live, they laugh and they love each other.

And who says all this was planned? Just Tom.....desperately looking for someone or something to blame for his short-comings. He made it all up in his sick attempt to "poison the well" for the family he left behind. Thankfully, it didn't work.

Question: I don't think Bill Becker even knew Tom Stump. So how can he say anything about him!

Question: Since Tom's daughter has Tom's blood do you want to call her mentally challenged?

You should think about what you are typing before you look more ridiculous than you do.

You know that Bonnie's child or any other child can have mental problems too.

Bernie doesn't know of her own blood and problems can come down the line for her own offspring.

question

Question: Have any of Tom Stump's siblings been diagnosed with retardation, mental illness or other disease that would make them act irrationally?

Maybe they could be tested, and that might help explain why Tom did what he did.

If she does -- we'll know what she's made of.

Question: Tell Bonnie to write her letter in her own handwriting and send the letter to Rose.
Bet she won't.
