Question: Whats going on here? Something happen and I missed it? How come no posts? I really hope theres been a break in this case!! The Stump family sure deserves it .

Question: The Beckers have always tried to stop anything that would allow the truth in by blocking it, whether it\'s the investigation itself, ads, flyers, you name it, they\'ve blocked it - they don\'t want anyone remembering anything that might lead to the truth. Not even her daughters talking to their own Grandma on the phone in case she asked a leading question. They have protected their lies for a long time. One thing they cannot hide from are people that have psychic abilities. I\'m sure there are quite a few out there who know what happened, but today it\'s hard to find 20 people at a time who believe in the psychic ability not to mention proving what they\'ve seen. There is also a new lie detector called a brain lie detector that cannot be fooled.

Question: I may be the only one but if I try to go back to a date other than Feb 05 I cannot. Is this a glitch in the system or the old computer I use?

Reply: You should be able to access previous messages all the way up to Feb. 18, which is when we switched over to this new system. It's possible, though, that some fell through the cracks curing the transfer. If so, we apologize.

Question: Last Sunday on Dateline they talked about the Scott Peterson case and that he was a sociopath - someone who had no conscience. Maybe that's what Bernie is - a sociopath. She feels she has done nothing wrong.

Question: Bernie has been proven Innocent by the monroe co. sherriff's office, the florida dept. of law enforcement ( fdle), even the f.b.i. looked at it. She has passed polygraph. All the sensationalistic t.v. (ie. americas most wanted) cant find a show, in fact they know the case by heart when you call. Yet the board continues to slander this nice family.
The case is so misrepresented on the board, ask yourself why dozens of professional detectives have closed this case as suicide ( yes I know there left open indef.) , has there ever been a more obvious suicide??
Disclaimer: I am not bill or bernie or any relative of theirs- I was a good friend of tom and mark. Rose doesnt even grace this board anymore. I feel very sorry for rose for not having closure in this case...she is the real victim, right behind bernadette: the sociopath, what a farce, You will be the one answering to god not her.

Question: I don't know how America's Most Wanted would know about the Stump case. The TV program was never contacted. I don't know that there were dozens of detectives working on the case, but I do know of two detectives working for the Sheriff's Dept. that strongly disagreed with the suicide theory. If you were a good friend of Mark, you were not a friend of Tom's.

Question: Why would the Stumps contact the TV show "America's Most Wanted"?
The show looks for the people who did the crime. The Stumps know who and where the perpetrators are, so why contact the show to find them.

Question: Nobody said that the stumps contacted those shows, can you read. The fact remains that 3 different shows who seek to gat a neilson rating by any tactic including virtually lying looked at this case often and couldnt find anything only backs up the three agencies who came up with suicide. Why would you sitting in your living room w/o any of the facts be smarter than all those highly trained detectives with all the facts.
Tom and mark were best friends as well as business partners at least till the final year of h@s, for rose to deny that tells me that is not rose's post that is absolute common knowledge to all who saw them constantly together in and out of work.
The really hilarious theory is that becker has all this pull with the agencies and squelched the investigation: that wasnt ever even used on dukes of hazard b/c of its unbelievability. Equivalent to martians taking tom. C\\\'mon people tom left with a gun never to be seen again after saying goodby to his kid....maybe bernie had a chip implanted in his brain while he was sleeping to cause him todo those things. Has there ever been a more obvious suicide!!

Question: Who wrote that statement is someone twisting facts for sure...
What kind of business was Mark in with Tom since you know so much.
What proof is in the records that proves that is true?
Best friends was not the relationship, if you knew them you would know that.

Question: It really doesnt matter where it was in his hand or hidden I think the writer's point was that this guy left with a gun after sying goodby to his daughter. How did bernie convince him to make that statement and play into her trap. Bernie or her accomplish would of avouded the woods like the plague If they knew he had a gun with him.
So many agencies soo many detectives only one conclusion: suicide. Bernie has long moved on with her life rose should consider the same. People down here all know that tom and mark were friends, sure business people occas. disagree, anybody who disagrees knows nothing about this case.

Question: oops-everywhere I wrote mark I meant scott . So I agree that mark and tom werent the best of friends. Tom and scott were close friends was the point that was being made.
Why would tom say goodby to sally " youll see me in your dreams" did he know he was going to be murdered ? or does it make more sense that he knew he was going to take his own life? The detectives all seem to think the latter.
You guys all sitting around in chicago and duluth or whwerever would like to think that all our detectives in monroe co. are lousy flunkies but the reality is they had the same training as evertyone else and most started in northern states and was successfull enough to make it to paradise. They are actually better, in many cases to officers up north - lets say the same. Overly competant. suicide.

Question: Yes I did.. know them well. That was over a decade ago. Mark is who-knows-where: se asia. Scott, If he is down here is a ghost I never bump into him anywhere. So if a little cross of two names has you confused- scott\'s ex. name starts with the letters mo. , his children names start with ar. - ev. - el.
Scott has expressed previously on this board that he would prefer that he be left off- so im done with him per his request.
Tom said goodby to his daughter and left with a gun never to be seen again, If having an afair led to tom\'s depression and later his suicide you can certainly attach some ethical blame to mrs becker. However slandering her with mickey mouse crap like the left boot , and where was his gun , and becker paid off the cops( how much do radio news guys make in your town) and to take that and make her out to be a murderer is very wrong. The droves of detectives looked closely at those things and found them to be Irrevolent.
Why would tom say goodby to sally and walk off( or pick it up from the bush as he walked by it ) with a gun, never to be seen again?? Why would bernie have to eleminate this husband when she was so adept at just divorcing. Insurance: always a possibility but this family prob. makes over 125K/ yr.- dental higenists make a ton in fla im told. Suicide, clearly the likely scenario.

Bernie told that the three of them watched Tom walk into the woods.
Discrepancies! That's what keeps this case open.

Question: The detective reports make no mention of these discrepancies, the discrepancies only exist on the board- two years ago that appeared on the board and has been perpetuated ever since. Sally heard a car- and the real crimes board decided to turn that into tom left in the car- Its fun to be a junior detective but you are victimizing a nice family who has very long ago moved on with their lives- just as all those detectives have moved onto real crimes!

Question: He got in a car to fill it up with gas for a pending vacation. Det. penley was one of the most outspoken supporters of suicide down here, do you see what your doing : hanging your hat on a sad and confused 5- 6 yr. olds testimony. Why dont you pick up the phone right now and call det. Penley and ask her about that supposed discrepancy, everybody has free long distance with their cell phones, so call her up rose and ask about the discrepancies- you are the only one with the actual suicide reports- and then come on and tell us all what they tell you. None of us can call them as we are not related.
