Shaw: When Ricky hooked up with myself he got to know a whole new group of friends. We’d have what’s known as mosh parties, we’d play crazy music and dance around, and Ricky ate that up.
Miller: Rick was being influenced. He got into this group of people, like me and Donny. Rick had just moved in with Donn, and I remember being at parties when we were drinking and we would smoke a lot and drink a lot and hang around and mosh. We were young.
Hill: What is moshing?
Miller: We’d gather in Donn’s living room and start bashing up against each other to hard music and stuff ... (Donn) would be moshing real hard with him (Rick). He’d put him on the ground, like “I’m the dominant one.” … Even after Rick died, Donny had a bunch of longhaired, loser, young kids, like he’s introducing those young kids to all the wrong things. His mentality level was like that even back in high school. Donny would be an intimidating person to all these young kids… All the kids were scared of Donny.
